Relay for Life

  Imani Klein was our top walker she walked an amazing 20 miles.  Everyone should congratulate her for her outstanding performance and effort.  The only ones that came close to that mark were  Chalon Rogers and Jennifer Michael with 11 miles and Kayla Michael with 10 and a half miles.  Thank you to all who participated every lap we walked got us that much closer to possibly winning the most laps walked award.

Spring Trip and Awards Banquet at Cypress Gardens!

On Saturday May 24, 2008 the Raider band students and parents celebrated the accomplishments of the band activities, both as group and individual achievements.   After  subway and riding rides at the park awards were handed out by Jennifer Michael in our shaded picnic area.  Some of the outstanding individual band student awards handed out were as follows:

Most Outstanding Performer:    Steven Kirby

Most Improved Percussion:    Casey Peacock

Most Improved Guard:  Kayla Michael

Most Improved Wind:  Rikki Rogers

Rookie Award:     Chalon Rogers

Leadership Award:      Dee Klein and Kayla Michael

Senior Award:  Dee Klein

Drum Major Pin:  Dee Klein

Capt. Pin:  Brittany Bartlett and Kayla Michael

The day  was concluded by more fun in the park and a Lynyrd Skynyrd Concert.
